Life Transitions
Adjusting to life transitions, such as having a baby, other family changes, or changing or losing a job, moving, or learning of a medical diagnosis and managing from an illness, can all create stress and strain on a person and their relationships.
Some transitions may be traumatic in nature and can cause disruption in a person’s functioning, and cause anxiety or depression.
Therapy can be a source of support and a space for problem solving through these transitions, to create potential for smoother transitioning and resolutions for changes.
